David's cooking is rooted in classical French cuisine, influenced by Japanese flavours and elevated through modern techniques.
He began his culinary journey in the UK just around the corner from Leavened, at The Fox at Willian — a formative chapter that shaped the local, seasonal ethos that still runs through everything he cooks today. After training over seventeen years in some of the UK's most celebrated kitchens, David has spent the last six years working as a private chef to VIP clients across London — cooking at the level of the world's finest restaurants, in the most intimate settings. His food is built on local ingredients sourced from trusted farmers, fishmongers, and butchers — relationships built over years.
Leavened is one of Hertfordshire's most beloved artisan bakeries — a working farm with a courtyard, a community, and a reputation for doing things properly. Their sourdough is made on site daily.
For one evening in June, the farm courtyard becomes a private dining room. Twenty guests, one long table, candles, and the kind of atmosphere that only exists in a place like this.
Easily reachable from London and surrounding areas. Full directions sent with your booking confirmation.
Yes — seats can be transferred to another guest. Email us with the new guest's name and any dietary requirements at least 48 hours before the event. All sales are final and seats cannot be refunded.
There's a dietary requirements field at checkout. David will accommodate where he can — please note this is a set tasting menu, so significant substitutions may not always be possible. If you have a severe allergy, email before booking so we can chat.
Lannock Farm is in Weston, Hertfordshire — about 40 minutes from central London by car. Full directions, parking info, and a map link arrive in your booking confirmation.
Come as you are — the setting is relaxed and the evening is meant to feel that way too. Casual is absolutely fine. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in.
There are no further supper clubs planned at the moment. That said, if the response to this one is strong, we'd love to explore what comes next.
Once they're gone, they're gone. There's no waitlist, no second sitting, no exceptions.
